Day 4 - HAPPY BERFDAY GIRLS
Woke around 9ish I think. Yes I do think. Had a shower then went around to see the girls. Sandy & Rob had gone already to church. Gave them huges hugs when I saw them and gave them their pressies. Can't believe they are 18. They are still my little girls. Ted was just lazing around on the couch and Nat was pottering. After a while David came to get Spud to take her to lunch. She had no idea where she was going. And I ended up just staying for lunch. Sausage rolls.
After lunch Mon asked if I wanted to go for a walk with her on my scooter. So Ted got it out of the car and off we hooned. Nat came along too. Was a really nice walk. Was frikkin cold tho. Bloody wind. Snowing somewhere close by thats for frakkin sure. Was so nice tho spending time with them both. Got back and I decided to go get my laptop from Sandys so me and Mon just buggered off for another walk and got it. Then sat there at Nats watching old home videos. Most of which I had filmed. Was so funny. The girls were all so young then. So cute. They got us all chinese for tea and we had a nice red wine to go with it. I dont think Ive had red wine since I lived here. Enjoyed it tho.
Then it was cake time. I will add photos later as I havent resized them yet, plus I think I have some more on my phone I had to put on the pc. Mons cake was amazing. Some fancy named layer cake thing with butter icing. (Sorry Mon, cant remember the name of it). It was so yummo. Told her she can come and live at my place if she wants. Shes an awesome cook.
Ended up staying there til about 10 but was just getting so tired. So came back here and sat and chatted to Sandy and Rob for a while. Now they have gone to bed and I really need to go to sleep. Long day tomorrow. Gotta drive 2 hours to see Grant then I get shown around the zoo down there at Richmond. Cant wait.
So will be back again soon.

Day 3 - Its Piddling Down
Woke up to rain this morning. So cold and windy out there. Well I am in Tassie I suppose. Had a cuppa and then a shower then sat and chatted to Sandy for a while and showed her some tricks with outlook express. Shes only just learning but shes picking it up so well. Better than any of my Broadband for Seniors people. Shes very cluey with it.
I had to get the girls birthday pressies (didnt want to buy them anything til I saw them, its been 3 years almost since I saw them last). So Off we went up to the Prospect Vale Market Place. Got their pressies then went and sat down at the coffee place and had a hot white chocolate (yummmooo). Natasha turns up. Was strange seeing her. We were close friends 20 odd years ago but shes changed so much. Chucked a bit of wieght on too. Suppose thats what happens when you pop out a couple of kids. We finished out cuppas then looked over and heres Margie sitting there with some friends. So went over and got a big hug and chatted for 5. Will ring her and go round to see her in the next few days.
Came home and had lunch. ANd now Im sitting here at the kitchen table typing this. Sandy and Rob have gone to a big church opening thing. They are very involved in the church. Sandy said something this morning about going to see the girls for their birthdays in the morning then off to church. Had to say to her "Im not going to church". She said she already knew that. Lol.
So now it looks like its gonna rain again. Cant hear it in this house. Tiled roof. I think I might drive around Nats and spend a bit of time with them. Hopeing to go to Maz's tonight. Just waiting to hear from her.

Ok its actually now Sunday night. I didnt get time to finish yesterday, yesterday, so here it is now.
So what did I do? Hmm.. Left here and decided I needed to get petrol. So drove up to Woolies petrol at Prospect and filled up. Weird how you can use your everyday rewards card at the servo there but not in Woolies. Possessed. Then went off to Nats, realising just after I had left the servo that I had forgotten to buy smokes. Daft biatch I am. Spent a bit of time at Nats. Mon wanted to make a birthday cake for the twins but had forgotten that they needed more butter. So I drove Nat down to IGA down at the Old Tudor and got my smokes then. hehehe. Spent a few more hours at Nats. Watching Mon cook her cake up. Smelled yummy. Had a Kaluha too. Forgot how nice that homemade Kaluha is. Think Im gonna have to make a batch again when I get home. Its all your fault Nat. Lol.
I had heard from Maz by now so went back to Sandy and Robs about 5 and got ready to go. Maz wasnt feeling too good due to her anti-glutten tummy so we decided not to get tanked. Left here about 530. Rob was outside giving my wheelchair a good clean. Aint he cool!!! so I left when he had finished that, so I could take it with me.
Drove over to Newnham and found Maz's place (shes moved since I was here last). OMG Joey has grown so much. And she is such the spitter of her mother. Got the attitude too. hehehe. Nath got back after a while with his dad and holy shit hes so tall. Not that little boy I saw last time. Big hickey on the neck. PMSL!! Well the kidlets left with their dad and we sat and yakked for ages. Decided to get pizza for tea. I wasnt gonna go near Maz's grooten free one so got a small hawaiian for myself. I normally only eat 3 pieces at most. I dont know what was wrong with me but I ended up eating the whole frikkin thing. Just kept thinking..oh one more piece.
Had a great night. We laughed and talked. Just like old times. Ive really missed Maz.
Got home about 1130pm.
And that was day 3.

DAY 2 - Did I ever leave here?
Well here I am back in Tassie. Got into Devonport about 6:30am and was one of the first off the boat. Had to wait for some old farts to be called twice over the intercom to get their arses down to the car. Finally they did. So off we went, off the boat and thru to quarentine. And what happens. They have a frikkin dog that needs to be wormed. Didnt they read the instructions? Ya bring a dog you worm it for some weird arse worm they dont have in Tassie. So finally i get thru quarentine, nothing to decare. (No sir! I have no alcohol in the car - thats what I said to the quarentine guy in Melbourne - Hes not taking my bottle of JB Black). Then I was off on my way to Launnie. Was a pretty good drive. Didnt really get stuck behind too many slow cars. Be easier if there were more double lanes. Hmmm.
Got to Launnie around 8am. Big hellos from Sandy and Rob. Had a cuppa and a chat with them and then finally got my shower. After that Sandy and I drove around to Nats place to surpise the girls. Spud was waiting at the gate for David, her boyfriend. She didnt recognise my car at first I think. Then she was all cuddles. Such a sweetie. Kahla was hanging out of the bedroom window in her jim jams. Got big hugs off her too. Monnie was off on a walk. So David turned up and off went Spud to College. So Sandy & I went inside and chatted to Kahla for a while. She had to get ready for class too. Then Mon finally got back so more hugs ensued. Love these kids. Stayed a while longer and chatted then they had to go so off we went too.
I dropped Sandy home then went off into town. Dropped in to see Nat at her work. Had to do three bloody blockies before I could find a park close by. Grrr. Was great to see Nat. Then went out to Invermay (can you believe I got on the wrong road and had to do a u-ee up past The Penny Royal.) Finally got to Maz's work and went in and chatted for a bit. Then off I went.
Decided to go to Maccas in South Launnie and sit in the car in my usual spot. Dont know how many times I have done that. Wanted to bring back an old time. Got another Smurfette tho. Already got her. Dorks!
Then I came back here to Sandy and Robs and hung about a bit, and then went and lay down on the couch for a rest. Next thing I know Sandy turns up with my pillow and a blanket. So I ended up napping.
After I woke up I went out for a smoke and discovered that Rob had spray painted my car where I hit the roo 5 years ago. Its just had undercoat on that bit since. Looks heaps better. Oh and he washed my car. :)
Last night went to the movies with Nat, Ted and Mon. Saw Footloose. Really thought it was gonna be shit. Was worried I would compare it too much to the original. But it was good. They didnt make it stoopid.
Went back to Nats and had a cuppa and ended up sitting watching telly. Then Nat dropped me back here. Was so stuffed I went to bed.
Feel like Ive never left.

Day 1. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting.
Waiting to get on the Spirit of Tasmania ferry to head over and surprise Monniqe Kahla and Spud. Oops I mean Sarah. Was a long drive down here. Listened to an audio book most of the way. Now gotta wait to board then the long night ahead attempting to sleep in a recliner without getting sea sick. Will report back later.
Ok on the boat now. Its quart to 7. We dont shove off til 730. Gonna be a long boring night I think. Went and checked out where Im sleeping. In the recliner area. OMG just glorified airplane seats. Theres a disabled loo up there but no shower. Bugger. Bum. Pooh. Gonna have to wait til I get to Sandys to have a shower now. Pretty boring up there so sitting down on deck 7 near the reception and shop area. theres some nice little seats here to sit in and a big tv on the wall. Watching Deal or no deal. Can't stand that bloody Andrew OKeefe. So fake. Anyhoo. Theres some weird sights on here. Some are even a bit weirder than what comes into work. I think even Bec would find them strange. And shes so used to the freaks. Oh the shop is open. Must remember to grab a buddy of coke. Need something to wash my drugs down with later. Hope theres not someone fat and stinky sitting beside me. Or someone with a frakkin kid!!! Might sleep up here if thats the case.
So now Im bored. This has only taken up 10 minutes for me so far. Pisses me off that I have to come down to this deck to have a smoke. No outside areas on deck 8. So gotta walk half way down the ship to get to the nearest lift and come down to this deck. Blah! A guy just walked past. Looked really familiar. Think hes an actor or someone.
You can tell the first timers on this ship. They are the ones taking lots of photos of really boring stuff. Like the city and down the side of the boat. I think I might have been on this thing a few times hey.
Ohhh no deal. Hang on. Message on phone. It was mum asking where I was. Making sure I got onboard ok. Shes so cool.
Do you know how hard it is not to put something about this trip on facebook. Cant let the girls know yet. Dont want to ruin the surprise.
Well might sign off for now. Not sure if I will be able to continue later. On battery with the laptop. Might just put some crap on via my phone.
Oh the captain is speaking. Nice weather. Only 1 - 1.5m seas. Still gonna drug up.
Better go get my coke so I can take them.

Sci Fi Sqworl
Well week 4 has arrived. Paula has been blessed with just two of us tonight. Me and Fiona.
We have so far been messing about with Sqworl. Yeeee Hawww Yeay I did say I seez that sqworl! This is going to be so handy. Not just for work either. After creating a free account I created a few groups and added some of my favourite websites. Then I can send a link of that group to people and they can check the sites out. Kewl Huh!!!

Ok And now I am back. A few hours later. We have been playing with youblisher. OMG how much fun is it. I made a little brochure thingy (on Sanctuary of course - shut up Im not obsessed) using Publisher then uploaded it to youblisher..... here check it out.....

SKYPE - A - GO -GO & JING - A - LING
Ok so this is the second time Ive written this blog. The stoopid page stuffed up and I had to refreash and lost the lot. Bugger bum pooh!!!
Anyhoo.... JING!! Such a brilliant tool. Its used to capture video and pictures off your desktop. You can select a section of the screen and capture it, save it as a picture. Or capture a section and video it. What that does it record whats happening on the screen and also records your voice over the mic. So cool if you want to show someone how to do something, or narrate over a photo album. Heaps of uses. So cool.
Then we looked at Skype. I love this program, for obvious reasons. Ive used it before but tonight I learnt how to do a group call. Added the others from here and we all had a chat.
Then we had a discussion about alien abductions. I think they all think Im strange cos I would like to be abducted by a nice alien. As long as theres no anal probing involved. Thats where I draw the line. Naughty Aliens.
And I can't go by without wishing my gorgeous niece Ashley a happy 24th birthday. Love ya so much chickie.
